Fr. David Miller
Fr.
David graduated from Dallas Baptist University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts
and Science in Philosophy. He was confirmed in the Episcopal Church by Bishop
James Stanton in the spring of 2004 and began theological studies at Perkins
School of Theology at Southern Methodist University in the fall of 2005. He
graduated with a Master of Divinity in 2010 and was ordained a priest in 2011.
Fr. David has served as pastor at St. Anne Episcopal Church since July 2020. He
enjoys Cub Scouts with his two sons, Pierce and Lawther, watching his daughter,
Ellen, play soccer, and helping to coach Lawther’s flag football team. He also
enjoys early morning walks with his wife, Keeley.
Becky Slate
Becky Slate
volunteers in our church office as Office Administrator. She prepares the weekly service bulletins and
announcement bulletins, which are sent each Friday via MailChimp. She updates the church directory as needed,
orders office supplies, and performs a variety of other office duties.
Becky
joined St. Anne, along with her husband, Bill, in January 1994. Her husband passed away in 2016 at which time
she became more active in the church. As
well as an office volunteer, she is a Chalice Bearer, Altar Guild member,
Vestry member and helps out with receptions when needed.
Becky was
born in Knoxville, TN and moved to Dallas in 1974. She attended St. Matthew’s Cathedral until
she transferred to St. Anne. She retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone
Company (now AT&T) in 2000 after 30 years of service.
